About Us

Who We Are?

The Arabic Language and Literature Study Program (BSA) at the Faculty of Humanities, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, has demonstrated consistency in maintaining an "A" accreditation rating for four consecutive periods (2007, 2013, 2018, and 2023). In August 2024, BSA advanced this achievement by applying for superior accreditation conversion to BAN-PT. Following an evaluation process, the program successfully attained superior accreditation status based on BAN-PT Decree No. 6962/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.KP/S/XII/2024.

This achievement reflects BSA's dedication to delivering quality education that meets labor market demands, as evidenced by the development of six primary professional fields: teaching, translation, tourism, journalism, film, and diplomacy. Furthermore, BSA actively pursues international recognition, such as earning AUN-QA certification in 2020, and continues to realize its vision of internationalization by applying for international accreditation from FIBAA, Germany, in alignment with UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim's 2021–2030 roadmap.
